Millie, our case manager at assisted living locators of Naples, successfully helped my husband and me navigate the most difficult time of our 53 years together. I am 82 and my husband will turn 80 next month. We were independent and fairly active until he collapsed at the dinner table and fell to the  floor of our annual rental in North Naples one and 1/2 years ago.  Since then, due to falls, he has been in and out of hospitals, rehabs,and at home with private home care givers. I spent several days looking by myself and it was exhausting. Finally I called Chrissy based on recommendations on Facebook and she is so wise so knowledgeable, as she is like a compassionate friend and she really understands these kinds of situations. She's also all business and she gets things done, She will make the appointments for you and she will meet you there and make the introductions and help you talk to them and be another pair of eyes and ears which you really need during these stressful times. Chrissy did an excellent job helping us with a senior relative who  was extremely hesitant to transition to an independent living apartment home. Chrissy met with us and successfully challenged every single excuse and argument presented without missing a beat! After one year, there are “no complaints” (highly unusual) and it is they are happiest we have seen in years: meeting people of similar age, engaged in regular activities, loving the social interaction and food.  The independent living place you put at the top of the list was the perfect recommendation and ultimate choice. Chrissy at Assisted Living Locators in Naples FL helped us find respite care for an elderly family member, under challenging circumstances. In addition, coordination was all done remotely, as our family member was wintering in FL, during the medical incident. We were referred to Chrissy from the Case Manager at the rehabilitation hospital. We had a short amount of time to find a facility and move our family member. She was able to quickly assess our family member’s situation and located several prospective facilities. She coordinated introductions with  prospective facilities and, within a short period of time, we were able to select the facility that best met our family member’s complex needs. Chrissy even offered to meet another elderly family member on a tour of the selected facility,  to offer her guidance and support , which was very much appreciated. Chrissy also recommended a Senior Living Mover, who was wonderful, and helped move our family member to the new facility. Chrissy was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable, collaborative with her partners, very communicative, empathetic, and kind. We could not have handled this situation remotely without her help and guidance.
